Ing. Aleš Špidla studied technical cybernetics. He worked in public administration from 2005 to 2014. In 2011 he drafted the Czech national cybernetic security strategy and co-authored a concept of the cybersecurity act. He has been an avid promoter of cybernetic security on the conceptual and strategic level. He lectures at the CEVRO Institute in the "Management and cybernetic security" MBA program. He is the president of the Czech Institute of Information Security Managers. At present, he works for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a manager at the risk assurance department.
